The Laser Stripe technology in the flashlight can be used in multiple situations for awareness. It gives a good view of smoke flow, quickly defines contours, locate holes, and objects in space, and provides lighting in turbid environments even in tanks or blasting.
The FRT Flashlight is easy to operate with just one hand. It’s easy to switch between options with the Bezel Switch. No awkward push buttons, but a Bezel Switch that is super easy to operate while wearing thick gloves.
The LED Light beam is a "smoke penetrating beam", which gives you a good view of the color and thickness of the smoke.
Light sources consist of blue Laser stripe plano projection with 7.25 hours operation and 207 lumens white LED lasting 5 hours on single charge.
The FRT is a handheld fire, rescue, and tactical (FRT) intrinsic safe flashlight suitable for use in HAZLOC, ATEX and IECEx Zone 0 hazardous gas and/or dust locations. The blue laser stripe beam projects on objects in a smoke-filled or fire-filled structure while preserving night vision and the traditional white LED light beam is for general use. The powerful smoke and fire piercing laser stripe line facilitates situation awareness to identify obstacles, holes, drops, room dimensions, facilitate team coordination, or search for others providing hints to navigation to safe path and to observe smoke flow, density, emerging gases, and track source like never before.
